Deadline for at komme i betragtning som medforfatter på den kommende IPBES-rapport om biodiversitet og den private sektor nærmer sig. Som yngre forsker eller ekspert er der desuden en enestående mulighed for at komme i ”mesterlære” i forbindelse med udarbejdelsen af rapporten. IPBES forfattere søges til ny rapport om biodiversitet og business

Rapporten forventes udgivet i 2025. IPBES har netop sendt invitation til potentielle forfattere. Hermed en opfordring til eksperter og videnspersoner fra danske institutioner og/eller virksomheder om at søge. Rapporten kommer til at rumme seks kapitler. Herunder kapitler om, hvordan private virksomheder er afhængige af og påvirker biodiversitet, metoder og indikatorer til at måle dette samt virksomhedernes og samfundets handlemuligheder i forhold til at biodiversitets positive aktiviteter og effekter. Den private sektor og finansieringsinstitutioner vurderes generelt af IPBES at være af meget stor vigtighed for at kunne vende biodiversitetskrisen. The term of office of all current members of the Multidisciplinary Experts Panel will come to an end at the closure of the ninth session of the Plenary, scheduled for 3 to 9 July 2022, when their successors will be elected. IPBES Fellowship Programme targets early career experts who wish to gain experience by participating in the work of IPBES. Research interests and expertise of candidates will match as much as much as possible the needs of one of the two assessments: (1) invasive alien species or (2) methodological assessment of biodiversity and ecosystem services In line with the themes and skills required in the chapters of the respective scoping documents.
