Danish Network on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services
The purpose of the network is to help create a Danish platform for the exchange of experiences and the sharing of knowledge regarding biodiversity and ecosystem services, including new research findings, specific projects, and/or the work of businesses and public institutions in the area of ecosystem services.
The network will thus contribute to discussions on the application of ecosystem services and raise awareness of them, based on the international reports from IPBES. The network is multidisciplinary and open to all relevant stakeholders, whether they are researchers, employees of public or private companies, or others who work with or are interested in biodiversity and ecosystem services in theory and practice.
The network meets 1–3 times a year. An annual schedule of the network’s meetings will be sent to members. In addition, the network will work to organize a biannual conference or seminar in accordance with the network’s mission. Relevant presentations and other materials will be published on the IPBES in Denmark website.
